Chapter 26

Once Hadley had gotten home Sidney made sure that Hadley didn’t need to do anything….in fact he never left her side. He really didn’t want her to be alone. By the time the rest of the team go back from the trip. Hadley couldn’t wait for Sidney to go to the arena. She wanted no need to be alone for just a little bit.


“Go I’ll be fine…the alarm will be on”

“ I don’t know why you just won’t come with me”

He had been on this all morning and wouldn’t let it go.

“BECAUSE SIDNEY I NEED YOU TO GO…” she stopped to collect herself she didn’t want to fight with him…not now.

“ …and anyways I need to get ready for the party tonight”

“Well I just thought that with everything we would sk…”

He really was making this difficult…so Hadley cut him off.

“NO, just stop…GO DO YOUR JOB…get out for a bit. Then we ARE going to the party like a normal couple…please”

The way Hadley looked Sidney knew he was doing exactly what he promised he wouldn’t do even after the hospital.

“Ok…Fine…but if you need anything..”

“I will call you”

Hadley couldn’t help but smile because she won and she like winning but decided to thank him properly. She walked up to him and put her arms around his shoulders and kissed him deeply lightly running her tongue along his lip.

Hadley hadn’t kissed him like that in he didn’t know how long. His thoughts quickly went away and the blood in his brain made its way south.

“Are you sure that I can’t skip practice” and pulled Hadley closer so she could feel what she was doing to him and then made his way down to her neck.

“No baby you cant” Sidney kind of pouted but tried one last time to get her to change her mind. Hadley just chuckled and whispered in his ear. “There is always later baby.” and then made her way towards the stairs.

Sidney loved watching her walk the way she was right now but it was slowly killing him. “ I Love you Hads.”

She got to the stairs and turned around “I Love you too” and started up the stairs she knew he was watching and was in a playful mood. “baby turn the alarm on…I am going to be soaking in the tub for awhile” laughing to herself as she made her way up the rest of the stairs.

“NOT FAIR BABY”

Then he turned around and made his way to practice…not even noticing the car that was sitting outside.


I should move now who knows when I will have another chance. He never leaves her side which just really bugs the hell out of me. But…I should wait I haven’t watched enough….

Sidney barely made it through practice because all he could think about was Hadley sitting in the bath tub and how bad he wanted to be there with her. Thank god for Hockey pads…


Then Mario walked up and told him about some interviews that really couldn’t be put off any longer which only made it harder on him…literally.

He finally got home and immediately went to the downstairs room to change. Hadley thought she heard him and in and put the finishing touches on her costume and made her way down stairs.

“Sid”

“I’ll be out in a minute baby.”

“Ok”

When Sidney walked out Hadley had to pick herself off the ground she was laughing so hard…Sidney walked out in a dress shirt, boxers and socks….he had his sunglasses in his hand.

“What is so funny.”

“Look…” Hadley was also in a dress shirt, boxers but instead of socks she had a pair of black heels on.”

They both started laughing because they were pretty much in the same costume.

“I didn’t have my original costume so I had to improvise.”

“Well you look hot baby…lets go to the party”

They made there way over to Mark’s for the party and did exactly what Hadley wanted to…have a normal couple night.

Now is my chance….I know they are both gone…but while I was sitting here I came up with a plan…it has to work….I CANT WAIT ANYMORE…I NEED MY LOVE….
